Fix Blackra1n Compatibility with iTunes 9.1

The new iTunes update breaks the Blackra1n method to jailbreak your iPhone. You can either downgrade your iTunes to an older version which is very long and tedious to do or you can simply apply a patch made by iH8Snow. It is very easy to patch Blackra1n.

You will need to download Blackra1n if you don’t have it already
Download this patcher called BlackFreeze
- BlackFreeze Download Link
Run the BlackFreeze (Run as administrator on vista and windows 7 to avoid problems)
This will show up
Simply click on “Fix my Ra1n!”
You well then need to locate the original blackra1n file you downloaded from blackra1n.com
When you located it, Press on open
BlackFreeze will then prompt you to choose a place to save the Fixed Blackra1n
Save it and voila! You are done and you can run BlackRa1n Whenever.

Music & Video to iPod

In this tutorial I will show you how to merge the music application and the video application into the iPod application so that it looks like the one on the iPhone. It will enable you to have one icon instead of two and this is the best way to do it.

Assuming that you have already jailbroken your device, Go to Cydia

Go to the “Manage” tab
Select “Sources”

On the top right select “Edit” and then select the “Add” button

Add the source http://csdev.2x.nu/repo
Look for Music and videos to iPod
Install the package and voila!

Fix Safari Password Saving

We will show you how to fix the problems you have with Safari when trying to save the forms and/or password. It is very simple. We will have to chmod one file.

SSH into your device by using your favorite SSH client
Go to /var/mobile/Library/Cookies

Right-click on Cookies.plist and the select Properties
Set the permissions to 777 and press Ok

Respring your Device and you are done!

Perfect background hack

This will install the perfect background hack on your iPod

Features:

1. The Solitaire Background is now fixed ( the solid green background is back!)
2. The stopwatch and the lock background is now back and fixed (brushed metal!)
3. The 4-bit color font change is now included!
4. The white squares in the legal section are now fixed!
5. The white frame at the bottom of now playing is now fixed!
6. The titlebar will now be placed good
7. It well never reboot by itself!
8. The themes are interchangeable. (5G to 5.5G and vice-versa)
9. Hacks are interchangeable (5G to 5.5G and vice versa)
10. smaller firmware size so it boots faster

There are some extra resources that you can add yourself later on

1. Remove Solitaire Background (replaces with the normal background).
2. Remove Stopwatch Background (replaces with the normal background).
3. Remove Screenlock Background (replaces with the normal background).
4. Remove the titlebar

How to install

Download the Firmware to somewhere you will remember (Desktop preferred)

For 5G Video: The New Firmware Update 1.2.2

For 5.5G Video: The New Firmware Update 1.2.2

Make sure your iPod is plugged to your computer
Open iPodWizard (right-click + run as administrator if on Vista or 7)
Open iPodwizard and in the dropdown menu select “firmware” then select “Load firmware” And select the firmware.

Modify what you want IE: Themes, Font color, Strings, Resources etc.
When you are done, just click on “write to iPod” and wait until it finishes writing the firmware on your iPod
When its done, just click on the eject button and wait until it reboots!

Note: When installing these firmwares, it might delete the Bootloader. You might have to install it again
