This tutorial will show you how to center all the Menu Text on your iPod.

- Open up iPodWizard
- Load your iPod firmware
- Go into the layout tab and select “font types” in the resources drop down menu
- Now in the search bar, search for this value and click on find: 24222
- Make sure the Hex checkbox is checked
- Click under the text align column to where it says: 0×0
- In the Change Value Box, type: 01 and click on change value
- Now in the search bar, search for this value and click on find: 24225
- Click under the text align column to where it says: 0×2 (Refer to number 3 in the last picture)
- Make sure the Hex Box is still checked. If it isn’t, check the box.
- In the Change Value Box, type: 01 and click on Change Value
- You are now done you can continue editing or just click on “Write” and then “eject”









Now all of your Menus should be Centered!

Concerning the zeroSlackr Rockbox/iPodLinux installer, I can confirm that this tutorial works and does not alter the bootloader or firmware edition.
I would assume that the bootloader will be in tact unless you have to replace the firmware with a different file, instead of just editing the one on your iPod.
Gonna check other hacks with this setup now.

something happend when i tried this tutorial.. my ipod wont boot. its stuck with the logo..
Hold the center button and menu button until it turns off, right when it turns off press the center button and the play button at the same time….. then you should be able to restore
